We premiere the video clip “En llamas” by the Barcelona band Belushi, second single and preview of their next album. A song that combines genres like never before is the trio’s career.
“En llamas” is the second preview single from the new release by Barcelona-based Belushi. On this occasion they combine electronic pop, something “tropical” and the “indefinite heritage of those songs that moved Madrid during La Movida at the end of the seventies.” The song has been produced, recorded and mixed by Carlos Dueñas (ArticWave Studio) and the master’s degree done by Angel Medina.
The band Belushi, formed in late 2015 and named after actor James Belushi, is made up of brothers painted (Joaquim on bass and Gerard on drums) at the head of a versatile rhythm section, which draws on the same generational fuel as El Columpio Asesino or Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, and Fernando Rasconkeyboardist, singer and lyricist of the Barcelona trio.
With their first two works, Belushi have had the opportunity to perform at Primavera Sound, the REC Festival or the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival, where they were the opening act for the legendary Simple Minds. In theaters, they have shared the stage, among others, with Joe Crepúsculo, The New Raemon, Melenas or Nueva Vulcano.
The band, which released its first album “Maneuvers in the dark” (17) followed by his second project “Instructions and poems” (20), they gave us a glimpse of what the new stage will sound like with the single “Miatuya”, which is now followed by “En llamas”.
