Jay explains that he feels cheated and really disconcerted and sad after his dismissal. “I felt devastated and cheated to receive the phone call on the morning of November 5, news that most of you found out shortly after. However, I was overwhelmed and truly grateful for the love and support I have received of this incredible community that I consider my creative and artistic home. This is not the end of the journey that I had dreamed of and that I had committed to carry out, by no means. But, despite the confusion and sadness, there is something that “It has given me the same amount of comfort (…) For that, I am grateful in a way that I will never be able to fully express.”
