Hiromi will present “Sonic Wonderland” in Spain

The famous and exceptional pianist Hiromi announces that he will pass through Spain to present his most recent work “Sonic Wonderland” this coming month of November.

After an extensive career that began in 2003 that has resulted in eleven albums, a Grammy, the composition of several soundtracks, among many other achievements and recognitions, Hiromi (Uehara) has released the nine funkiest songs created to date that form his twelfth studio album, “SonicWonderland”published last week.

The album is born from the most imaginative and dreamlike part of the artist, outlining through boreal synthesizers, deep grooves and fantastic harmonies, an adventure trip loaded with strong cinematic energy. One more time, Hiromi It challenges musical genres to achieve its maximum creative expression, which dispenses with labels, limits and comfort.

She will be accompanied live by a new quartet, with whom she also recorded the entire album in the studio. The prodigious formation, which is called Hiromi’s Sonicwonderfeatures the bassist Hadrien Feraudthe drummer Gene Coye and the trumpeter Adam O’Farrill.

The concert dates are as follows: November 9 (Guadalajara, International Jazz Series; Buero Vallejo Auditorium), November 10 (Zaragoza, Jazz Festival; Zaragoza Auditorium) and November 11 (Palencia, Jazz Festival; Ortega Theater).
