It is confirmed that the Americans green Day They will perform in Madrid in June next year. They will be the headliners of the Road To Rio Babela new sister event to the festival Babel River.
Just a week ago Green Day announced their next album, which will be titled “Saviors” and will be available on January 19, at the same time they released the single “The American Dream Is Killing Me.” From that moment on, there began to be talk about when and where they were going to present this new material. After announcing a tour of large venues in the United States, it remained to be seen which countries would have performances by the group in Europe. And obviously Spain could not be missing from their next tour, in which they will also be celebrating thirty years of “Dookie” and the twenty of “American Idiot”.
Well, the unknowns have now been revealed and the news is confirmed that the group will be performing in Madrid on June 1, 2024. It will be as headliners of the Road To Rio Babela sister event to the festival Babel River –which will be held on its usual dates– and which will serve as a warm-up so that the wait until the festival does not become so long. The Galician festival O Son Do Camiño has also confirmed Green Day among its main headliners.
Although they will not be alone at the Madrid festival, which will announce more names in the near future.
