Art School Girlfriend will pass through Barcelona and Madrid

The acclaimed project Art School Girlfriend announces concerts in Barcelona and Madrid for the month of February and tickets are now available.

After passing through the BBK festival, Polly Louise Mackey, also known as Art School Girlfriend, will give us at the beginning of the year an intimate and dreamlike live show, a little secret that a few of us will be able to enjoy (and keep as a memory) in Barcelona (February 10, 2024, Laut) and Madrid (February 11, Moby Dick).

On this tour, the Welsh multi-instrumentalist artist and producer will present “Soft Landing”, their second album released last August, a work full of depth, detail and trance, the perfect union between subtle electronics and the most melodic rock. In his project we can detect vocal strokes similar to those of Romy Madley-Croft (The XX), percussions that border on the cleanest UK Garage and a seductive and delicate structure, which becomes irresistible. As you consider Mackey, This is a very special job, since it is the first time he has managed to compose an album with which he totally identifies, so the staging will not go unnoticed.

So far, we have been able to see recorded live pieces and the truth is that the project promises, it is one of those essential dates for lovers of the most nostalgic, sensitive and sublime electronics. We remind you again of the dates so that you don’t forget these concerts:

Saturday Feb 10 8:00 p.m. €24.20
Laut, Barcelona
Sunday Feb 11 8:00 p.m. €24.20
Moby Dick, Madrid
